Which situations can you relate to?
In workshops or training, as a facilitator you encounter a lot of situations that can make you nervous, have the impression your plans are ruined, and that there is no chance you can bring everyone to the constructive discussion you want to handle. Which of the situations below did happen in your sessions:
Someone was destroying other people’s ideas, judging them, and bringing arguments about why they are wrong in front of everyone (most of the times in an aggressive way)
Participants change plans at the last minute - even though you asked them to participate remotely from separate locations, they are in the same room and your breakout rooms plan is gone?
Someone wants to make decisions for the whole group, even though the reason why they are there is to align as a group.
People want to chat so much in between activities and they are frustrated there is no time for this.
Some persons want to know the opinions only of specific persons, or “selected” people and do not care about others.
There are so many variations of these and many more that you probably encountered. I would be curious to know more about your experience, if you wish you share them in the comments!
I am “cooking” a new on-demand training:
Facilitation - neuroscience behind - a 3h online session where I would explain some neuroscience principles I use in most of my workshops in order to create brain-based workshops that are universally applied independent of culture, industry, etc.
What will you be able to do during and after this training?
🎲 Practice how to connect with people or help them go out of emotionally stressed moments
🎲 Discover a universal human interaction framework
🎲 Reflect on which workshop / trainings situations you can apply this method
I need your help to make this happen!
If the above learning objectives are appealing to you, please register your intention to attend this training by filling in this survey.
It is important to find a date that fits most of you, so you have in the survey also the option to pick up which dates work best for you :)
